I am designing my cousin’s trousseau who lives in the US. I have been going shopping every day in search of the perfect dress. Though I haven’t been able to find that, I HAVE discovered a few boutique tricks 
:
- Place a brightly coloured dress between two dull dresses. It is sure to catch the customer’s eye
- Never put two nice dresses in the same row - the customer gets confused and ends up buying neither
- Every dress in the row should be a different colour else the customer simply overlooks them. Two dresses, same colour placed together - do not make sense to the customer!
- Always place Extra small (XL) size at the front - that’s what every customer aspires to be!
- Last but not the least, tell the customer she’ll look pretty in a particular dress
